Our new partnership with Plug-In, a specialist in the design and manufacturer of high-performance hermetic feedthrough solutions, expands Scitek’s capabilities in vacuum and advanced engineering technologies.
Established in France in 1999, Plug-In has developed extensive expertise in designing and manufacturing electrical and optical hermetic feedthroughs.
They specialise in solutions that enable electrical signals, power and optical connections to pass reliably between different environments, including vacuum, pressure, gases and liquids. Using a proprietary epoxy sealing process qualified by ESA and NASA, its feedthroughs support applications ranging from low-level signals to high-frequency and high-power requirements.
A key strength of Plug-In is its modular and flexible approach to engineering. Alongside a broad range of standard configurations, the company develops customised solutions to meet specific application requirements. Feedthroughs can also be supplied pre-mounted onto standard or custom flanges, with additional capabilities including vacuum-compatible connectors, harnesses, panel boards and distribution boxes.
Through this collaboration, we will provide customers across Australia with access to Plug-In’s specialised solutions for applications in scientific research, aerospace, vacuum technology and advanced industrial systems.
The partnership also complements Scitek’s growing portfolio of space simulation and vacuum technologies. Plug-In’s specialised feedthrough solutions are a valuable addition to complex vacuum and space chamber systems, where reliable transfer of electrical signals, power and optical connections across environmental boundaries is critical.
